Shortest Post I've Ever Written, More Like A Blurb.

It's no work weekend again!!!!

For those of you new to this blog, first off I would like to welcome you!!!

Welcome to the blog!!

For my regular readers, I had a new article post on the Scary Mommy website last week and some of those lovely readers have trickled over here. You can find that post here.

For all my favorite readers who have been around for a while, you know my stance on "No Work Weekends"  which is why there is no real post today! For those of you who are new to this blog, I invite you to click on that link and check it out!

For everyone else, because I love you, I won't leave you completely hanging. I invite you to head over to Lifetime Moms where I've been pretty busy lately. Just click on that link and scroll down to see my articles.

As you may have noticed, I now have a few ads running on this page. It took me quite a while to finally come around to the idea of running ads on this page. I really just wanted this page to be about healing and nothing but healing and good times, but let me tell you, this has become a very expensive hobby. I've grown to love all of you so much and I make sure to reply to every comment and email that I get because I want you to all feel as important as you are! What that means though is that I'm spending hours a week on here (which I love) but it also means that I'm losing "working" hours. So....enter the ads. Hey, you all know my financial situation and I'll be honest, every dollar helps. I joined onto the BlogHer network to allow them to run ads on my page and I hope you guys can understand why. I don't get to choose the ads that are placed on my page, but I did opt out of certain categories (political messages, R rated movies, etc) but if you guys see anything offensive or unsettling please let me know and I will have them removed.

Now if you will excuse me dear friends of mine, I have a ballet recital to attend for a special little lady.

In other news (before I go); I learned yesterday that at the ripe old age of six, my daughter as already deemed me obsolete. I didn't think that was supposed to happen until she became a teenager?

Girl child: "Who is coming to my show tomorrow?"
Me: "Me."
Girl Child: "But who else?"
Me: "Uh....who else were you expecting?"
Girl Child: "Well everyone else will have a daddy or a grandma or a grandpa or someone and I'll just have you."
Me: "Gee.....thanks....."

Luckily I have an awesome friend who stepped up to be the "someone else" that could come. I hope the two of us will be enough for her royal highness....

The things that we do for our children.....

** I would also like to point out that when you donate to your local YMCA, you are providing scholarships that allow children living below the poverty line, children like mine, the opportunity to participate in activities that they otherwise would not be able to. Thank you to all the YMCA supporters!**
