Facebook Continues To Remind Me That My Kids Are Weird

(I'm going to apologize ahead of time, for some reason screenshots appear a bit fuzzy when you read them via an email subscription. You may want to click the title link at the top of the email and read it directly from the blog if you are having that problem. Sorry!)

Do you remember the post where I told you that "I Learned My Kids Were Weird From Facebook?"

Well a peek at my most recent facebook statuses has alerted me to the fact that not much has changed! My kids are still just as strange and my Facebook page will continue to be the vault that reminds me of that fact. Now that I'm reading over my status updates, does anyone want to adopt The Boy Child?

(Hint, look at his forehead)

Or better yet, take both of them!

For this next screenshot, read the second status before the first, as they are displayed in reverse order

Although The Girl Child is pretty spectacular.

But then again, even The Boy Child has his moments

BUT STILL, they are weird aren't they?? Here I am talking to a neighbor about The Girl Child. (I'm the peach blurb).

Even my Facebook Timehop feature reminds me that they have always been CONSISTENTLY weird! Look at the dates!

But at the end of the day, you just have to laugh! (I'm still the peach blurb)

In all reality though I can't really blame them. I mean they do have me for a mother...

You guys, my kids and I are really freaking strange. Those are just SOME the statuses that I've either posted in the last couple months, or have popped up via Timehop recently.

WE ARE SO WEIRD.

Why are you people even here!?

Oh yes... to watch the train wreck...

Welcome to the circus!

  1. I recently had to tell my daughter "No, you can't poke the frog with a stick. Don't poke the frog with a stick! Don't poke the frog AT ALL!!"

    My daughter is 13...

  2. Your kids are awesome.

I was doing puzzles with a 2.5-year-old at work the other day. We were at a table and she was sitting in my lap. Suddenly, she turns her head a little and gives the most evil, sinister "hahahahaha" I have ever heard come out of a child. When I ask her what's so funny, she responds, "I farted on yo leg." Yes, yo. Not your. And then she said she was going to do it again.

I also had a four-year-old tell his mother she needed to sit down sot hey could have a talk. She was late picking him up, and she needed to put herself in a timeout.

    Ah, kids.
