As some of you may have noticed, today's blog post where I answered all the reader questions that were asked last weekend has been removed.
What started out as a fun post where I could answer questions and get involved with all of you turned into someone getting very angry with the answer that I gave to a question. That person then somehow managed to access one of my personal accounts.
(Which oddly enough of all the accounts they could have choosen, they just happened to pick the one that shed even more truth to my answer. ...but anyways)
I'm taking a few days to reconfigure all my online accounts and I will be back next week.
In the meantime I hope you are all enjoying your No-Work Weekend!
Family movie night!!
Gosh. Which part of your post angered this person?
ReplyDeleteI dunno but anyone that hacks accounts sounds like someone who would be easily angered anyways!
DeleteAgreed!
DeleteWTH is wrong with people? Seriously. Sorry I missed the exchange. Do whatever you need to do to protect yourself, Eden. Damn.
ReplyDeleteMuch love and many hugs from the East Coast to you and yours
Thanks hun. It was a rough week!
Delete*hugs*
Personal account, as in one using your real name and unattached to this blog? :0 or one attached to this blog like blogger, google plus, or facebook? Do you know this guy? I hope everything is back to normal now!
ReplyDeleteThink I've gotten it all cleared up. I don't want to give away too much info ;)
Delete*hugs*
Yikes. So sorry, Eden. Sending you love xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
Delete*BIG hugs*
This is really shitty. People have no respect for anyone nowadays.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteWow, how awful! Did you get to access their info in return (find out who, report them, etc.?) Hope so! And yes, what was it that "set them off", supposedly? I still can't believe how many people get "offended" by your pictures of yourself, so I REALLY can't imagine what would be (the excuse to be) a trigger to hack you, ack!
ReplyDeleteI know enough :) People are so touchy these days lol!
DeleteI can't say anything right now, but I'll update you all soon. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYikes. That's insane. I'm so sorry. Have you been able to secure everything?
ReplyDelete*hugs*
I sure hope so, thanks!
Delete*hugs*
Yuck! I'm so sorry. Please make sure your credit cards and bank accounts are secure. I know that hacking and identity theft are two different things, but if someone is angry enough to hack into your personal email they might also decide to play fast and loose with your finances as well.
ReplyDeleteGood points!
DeleteAs much as I wish I'd seen this, I'm more angry that a person used a time where you are interacting with us to do this. Really hope you get this sorted out Eden!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteWithout exposing the specifics about the hacker’s activities that you don’t want to expose, are you able to share with all of us what we can do to protect ourselves from this sort of thing?
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I'm probably the worst person to ask about this, clearly lol. Just make sure to change your passwords often, make sure when you are on a site that requires a password that your connection is secure. Close old accounts that you no longer use so that they aren't just sitting around waiting for people to break into them lol.
DeleteHope that helps but that's all I've got!
