I was planning on getting a new post up for tomorrow, but I'm working from the hospital again (The Girl Child is in but should be out soon!), and I'm not getting as much done as I'd hoped. Instead of completely bailing though, I'll leave you with a few of my articles that have run elsewhere recently, and hopefully it can entertain you for at least a few minutes!
"I'm Terrified Of Turning Into My Abusive Mother" ran on Babble and I'm interested to see if any of you readers can relate!
"A Letter To My Former Self, The Morning After I Was Raped." I'll admit, I wrote this months ago, but when it ran on YourTango last week, it made me cry all over again. If only I had known...
And lastly, "I Dressed Provocatively For A Week To See How Men Would React To Me." I'll warn you straight up, if you're one of my
But anyway, sorry for flaking on getting an actual post up, but I promise I will make it up to you next week when I tell you about how I tracked down my ex's first "wife"... and I talked to her.
Dear Erin. I think you are one of the strongest women I know (but really don't know since we've never met). :) I'm sure you'd be amazed at the number of people who admire you....via your posts. Your willingness to put yourself so OUT THERE shows incredible strength of character...love your humor and your writing style.
ReplyDeleteAutocorrect ruined my name again lol. I know what you meant :)
DeleteAnd, you can call me Bob for all I care because you say the sweetest things!! Thank you for all your encouragement and support!
*hugs*
Good heavens! You have enough on your plate as it is! Especially with the last court post$ I hope the girl child is recovering! Please take care of yourself.😃👍🏾 Dee in Los Angeles
ReplyDeleteThank you Dee :) And thanks for reading!!!
DeleteHope the Girl Child is feeling better. As a person who spent far too much of her childhood in hospitals (yay invisible genetic disorders!), I know how awful that can be.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there and sharing your story. That takes incredible bravery.

Thank you :) Stupid invisible genetic disorders! I mean I guess invisible is better than an obvious mobility issue or a deformity, but its hard when people can't see how crappy you feel inside. :(
DeleteThank you for sticking around!
