P.S. Wow readers... look how far we have come! And I say "we," because so many of you have come alongside me in this journey, and truly helped me get to where I am today. From your encouragement, to your insights, and even your hard-to-hear critiques, thank you all!

And a special thank you to Kalyn Baumgartner of Rays of Life Photography! She was kind enough to meet us, on super short notice, at our wedding location, to capture this special announcement. Not only are her photography skills out of this world, but she was such a joy to work with! The Girl Child has decided that I should make her my best friend, and I'm totally cool with that.

Kalyn did NOT ask me to do this, but I'm going to tell you anyway, that she specializes in family photo shoots, senior portraits, and weddings! She is willing to travel to your location, and customize everything to your liking — as is evidenced by her ability to get so many pictures, not of my kid's faces! (Which let me tell you, may have been her strangest request yet. "Hey there, can you get a bunch of pictures of us, but not of our faces? See, customization!! I will say though, the face shots she did get for my families keepsakes, are GORGEOUS).

But anyway, I just can't say enough nice things about her, so I'm shamelessly plugging her here. Hire her. She's awesome.
