We are still here.
Poor kid has just had a lot of complications that we weren't anticipating.
I'm running on about... oh... maybe six hours of sleep since Thursday. She on the other hand, was transferred to a different floor last night and seemed to sleep a lot better. So that's a plus since it's very important to her healing!!
I really appreciate all the words of encouragement, jokes, and silly pictures that you guys left her on here and on Facebook. You all are the best!
Today's goals are to work on drinking and smiling.
Come on Girl Child, you can do it!!
aww, I know what it's like to be in the hospital. The procedures they have aren't really conducive to sleeping well or at all. I hope she gets well soon! Show her some cockatoo videos on instagram. https://www.instagram.com/divadahliathecockatoo/ https://www.instagram.com/nikothepinkchicken/ https://www.instagram.com/gotcha_the_cockatoo/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUNECHCKWBc This is Gotcha too, a funny video.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Get well soon, Girl Child!
ReplyDeleteDoes she like babies? Here are a couple of videos of just babies laughing hysterically:

Awesome!
DeleteAnd who doesn't like babies???
DeleteAfter nearly 12 years of working in child care, I've found quite a few of my coworkers don't like babies.
DeleteWhy take a job WORKING WITH INFANTS AND TODDLERS if you don't like infants?
*sigh*
I hope that at least her pain is under better control! Many hugs and prayers for a full recovery.
ReplyDeleteThank you Steven
